DAY 1 – Sept 21 2026: ARRIVAL IN MUNICH (D)
Upon arrival in Munich, you will be warmly greeted by your tour guide at the airport
before embarking on a comprehensive city tour. Over the course of the day,discover Munich’s elegant boulevards, grand squares, and architectural gems,from the bustling Marienplatz with its famous Glockenspiel to the stately Residenz and the ornate churches that crown the old town. With commentary provided by your English-speaking guide, you’ll gain fascinating insight into the city’s history,culture, and traditions. Later, transfer to your hotel to refresh before heading out together to a local restaurant, where a festive welcome dinner awaits, featuring a three-course menu served with a pint of beer.
DAY 2 – Sept 22 2026: NEUSCHWANSTEIN & ETTAL (B)
Today’s excursion takes you out into the Bavarian countryside to admire some of Germany’s most enchanting sites. First, visit Ettal Abbey, a Benedictine monastery nestled in the Ammergau Alps, where you will tour its striking Baroque interior before stepping into the abbey’s historic brewery for a guided tasting of its celebrated beers. Continue onward to the fairytale castle of Neuschwanstein, built by King Ludwig IIand set high above the village of Hohenschwangau. A guided tour through the castle reveals its ornate chambers, grand halls, and the romantic vision that inspired Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. Return to Munich in the evening after this full and memorable day.
DAY 3 – Sept 23 2026: OKTOBERFEST EXPERIENCE (B)
After breakfast, join your guide and travel by train to the world’s most famous beer festival—Oktoberfest. Your guide will provide a brief introduction to the sprawling festival grounds, pointing out the colorful tents, lively fairgrounds, and parade routes before leaving you to soak up the atmosphere at your own pace. Spend therest of the day exploring as you wish, sampling traditional food, enjoying the rides and entertainment, and perhaps visiting one of the grand beer halls where Bavarian music and hospitality take center stage. Return to your hotel independently at your leisure.
DAY 4 – Sept 24 2026: OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATION & BEER TENT (B/L)
Enjoy another lively day at Oktoberfest, departing the hotel with assistance from your guide. A reserved table awaits you inside one of the festival tents, ensuring a premium experience. Here, savor a traditional meal of half a roasted chicken, perfectly paired with two liters of freshly tapped Bavarian beer, all while enjoying the music and festive atmosphere. Afterward, the remainder of the day is yours to continue celebrating, soaking up the cheerful crowds, and perhaps wandering the amusement rides and vendor stalls. Make your own way back to the hotel at your preferred time.
DAY 5 – Sept 25 2026: LEISURE TIME (B)
After indulging in the festivities from the day before, today is yours to enjoy Munich at leisure. Perhaps you’ll return to favorite landmarks, explore the city’s museums, or take a relaxing stroll through the English Garden, one of the largest urban parks in Europe. Indulge in some last-minute shopping or simply relax and soak up the Bavarian ambiance.
DAY 6 – Sept 26 2026: WELTENBURG ABEEY & DANUBE CRUISE (B/L)
Venture to the Danube Gorge today for a cultural and scenic highlight. At Weltenburg Abbey—one of Bavaria’s oldest monasteries—you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the historic complex, including its beautifully adorned Baroque church, followed by a two-course lunch at the traditional Klosterschenke, accompanied by a glass of the abbey’s own beer. The experience continues with an in-depth brewery tour, offering insight into centuries-old brewing traditions.
Afterwards, step aboard a boat for a leisurely cruise along the Danube River, passing through the dramatic cliffs of the gorge en route to Kelheim. Return to Munich in the evening with unforgettable memories of Bavarian heritage and natural beauty.
DAY 7 – Sept 27 2026: DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, bid farewell to Munich as you check out of your hotel. With assistance from your guide, join the group’s private transfer to the airport for your departing flight, carrying with you the warmth of Bavarian hospitality and the joy of an Oktoberfest journey well spent.
